Music Department

One German poet said: “The greatness of art is most clearly manifested in music.” After all, poetry is closest to music, and music is closest to our deepest feelings. Music can express what cannot be said with words. All that storm of emotions that exists inside each of us. What a miracle these seven notes can work! And what a joy not only to be able to listen and understand music, but also to be able to convey this miracle to the world! We are apprentices to Her Majesty of Music, step by step we grasp her secrets. And we become a little wizards. We ourselves choose the way to speak in the language of music: for some it is the piano, for others it is the guitar, and someone learns to master his voice, performing in a choir and solo. At the same time, each of us learns the universal laws of the structure of music, checking harmony with algebra in solfeggio lessons. And many more secrets and riddles are revealed to us by the history of musical art.

You say: “Well, all music schools have it. What makes your school so special?” And because, among other things, we create operas! Yes, yes, real! We sing and dance on stage like real opera artists. And in order for us to do it well, we study acting skills, stage language and choreography. After all, it is one thing to sing a short song. And it is completely different – to be able to convey an image with your voice, to play a role – it is much more difficult and interesting!

The most hard-working and talented of us are invited to participate in children’s television programs and city holiday concerts. They are held at the best concert venues.

But, as Elvis Costello said, “talking about music is like dancing about architecture.” Therefore, it is better to come to our school and immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of music!
