dance

Choreographic department

They say that our life is a dance. For some it is a smooth waltz, for others it is a cheerful polka or a passionate “gypsy dance”. But one thing is clear – everyone dances! So why not learn to do it easily and beautifully? Besides, dance is something that unites us, makes us closer and more understandable to each other.

If you want to know what lies in the heart of a people, dance their dance! Through it we learn to understand other peoples from all over the world. This is what we call this subject: “Folk Dance”.

We also love the classics: these smooth, strict lines, light movements are filled with beauty. And we know how much work is behind this lightness, beauty and harmony.

Dance is not only about lightness and grace. Dance requires strength, power, agility, coordination. For this we have a special subject – stage movement. We are taught to juggle, stand on our hands and on our heads, do supports, somersaults and much more!

At our school, we don’t just do dances, we do whole choreographic productions! And what can a performance be without acting? We learn this from real actors. It is so important to convey emotions and thoughts so that the audience understands what we want to convey.

Art history is as important a discipline as any other. We get acquainted with the development of culture, learn about its brightest figures, learn to analyze and understand art. It shapes our taste and teaches us to understand our profession.
