Peter is thrilled to work with such a devoted group here at BoHo. Originally from San Diego, Peter earned a music degree from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut before moving to Chicago in 2002. As a stage manager, director, producer, and production assistant he has worked with Drury Lane, Porchlight and Bailiwick, as well as the downtown run of ...Spelling Bee. He has spent several years at the Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire where he is currently the Production Administrator.

Stephen has spent the better part of 30 years involved in theatre in one aspect or another. From stage direction to technical direction, costuming to props, acting to writing, being involved on so many levels has helped him officiate in the positions he currently holds as Artistic Director of BoHo Theatre. Steve has performed at or worked with Marriott's Lincolnshire Theatre, Pheasant Run Dinner Theatre, Theatre at the Center, and Court Theatre, to name a few. Productions with BoHo include

Thomas is a founding member of Bohemian Theatre Ensemble. His background varies from being backstage, in the house, and onstage. His love of the arts is well evidenced when glimpsing his past. Many years ago (in 1990), Thomas began his theatre career by becoming an assistant director for a high school production of Oliver! at Bloomington High School in Bloomington, Illinois where he was doing his student teaching. Since then, Thomas has produced many shows for BoHo and works in the company with love, strong organizational skills, and his knack for problem-solving. Thomas also created an adaptation for BoHo (Yerma), directed a piece in a benefit for Season of Concern (in Chicago), and performed in numerous productions on stage. Thomas shared the helm of BoHo with Artistic Advisor Stephen M. Genovese (then Artistic Director) from 2003-2009 and now looks forward to the continued growth and success of the company as it produces critical and audience successes that invigorate the theatre community of Chicago.

The holder of a BA in Biological Sciences from the University of California - Santa Barbara, Peter has worked professionally with theaters such as Court Theatre, Drury Lane Oakbrook, Chicago Opera Theater, Illinois Theatre Center, Theatre At The Center, New American Theater, Circle Theatre, Wagon Wheel Theatre, American Girl Theatre, and Borealis Theatre. He was also featured on the Original Cast Album for Circle of Friends: An American Girl Musical. As a director, he was awarded a 2008 After Dark Award for Outstanding Direction for BoHo’s The Merchant of Venice. Most recently, he appeared with BoHo as Charlotte von Mahlsdorf in the critically acclaimed production of I Am My Own Wife. Peter is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association, and is honored to have served as BoHo’s Associate Artistic Director since the company’s inception in 2003.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Ryan is thrilled to have found a home with BoHo where he has appeared in the critically acclaimed 2007 productions of Gross Indecency: The three trials of Oscar Wilde and the Theatre on the Lake remount of SideShow. Other credits include Signal Theatre’s 1776, Pegasus Players’ aquatic production of Sondheim’s The Frogs (yes, the one in the pool), and Brown Couch Theatre Company’s production of Brecht & Weill's Happy End, as well as 4 seasons of performances with (and dressed as) acquatic mammals at SeaWorld Cleveland. Ryan holds a B.A. from Xavier University in Cincinnati, and a Masters of Arts Management from Columbia College Chicago and hopes his background and training will lend itself well to furthering the BoHo mission and vision so that this amazing company can continue to entertain and enlighten audiences and artists alike. Rebecca left her hometown of Houston, TX to receive her BA in Theatre from Grinnell College in IA. She started working as an actress in Chicago in 2007 and found a happy home as a BoHo company member in 2010. She has played with many theatres in Chicago including: BoHo, Redmoon, American Myth Theatre Co, Prologue & Grey Zelda. She was also lucky enough to tour a show called Dr. Egg and the Man with No Ear through Canada in the fall of 2010 and act in All the Happy People which went to the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Fest. On the administrative end of things, Rebecca has worked with the Goodman Theatre as a casting intern and Blue Man Group as a group sales associate. She is thrilled to be a part of the BoHo family and is excited for all that is to come!

Stephanie’s passion for theatre began in San Antonio, TX where she studied at Trinity University and received a BA in Drama and Communication. This passion then brought her to Chicago where in 2006 she received her MFA in Acting from DePaul University. Stephanie joined BoHo's company in 2008 and has found a great home in such an amazing company. In addition to her commitment with BoHo, Stephanie has enjoyed working as an actress with a variety of theatres in the Chicagoland area and continues to look for opportunities to thrive on stage!

Charles is a freelance graphic designer, web designer, and illustrator specializing in the non-profit arts scene. He has created pretty things for such companies as Remy Bumppo Theatre Company, Emerald City Theatre, Chicago Fringe, Backstage Theatre company, and the Chicago Fringe as well as BoHo. He has also been publishing cartoons and comics online and in print for over seven years. Sean Thomas has been involved in the Performing Arts for over 30 years. He studied at Salisbury State University and Shenandoah Conservatory and holds a BFA in Theatre. After graduating, he was a Music Teacher and Director of Music at Broadwater Academy in Exmore, Va. before moving to New York City to pursue his love of Theatre. New York and National Tour credits include
Phantom of The Opera,
Les Miserables,
The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe,
Three Tall Women,
The Fantasticks, and
Forever Plaid among others. Sean moved to Chicago from New York City six years ago to work in the Real Estate industry and after a 10 year hiatus is delighted to be back in the Performing Arts. For BoHo, Sean has been seen in
Ghosts as Engstrand and in
Big River as Pap, The King and Silas. In Chicago, he has also worked with Caffeine Theatre in
Wreckage and Steppenwolf in
The Hot L Baltimore directed by Tina Landau. Sean is thrilled to have been asked to join this amazing and supportive company.
